Student Entrepreneurs

Alex and Noah are in their final year of the IB Diploma Programme at Zurich International School. Like other seniors, they are preparing for the IB exams this May, planning senior trip and finishing their TOK essays. However, unlike most of their classmates, they are also running Cikumas. The IB encourages students to “take responsibility for their own educational progress”* and that is exactly what they have done. So how do they do it, juggling school and a business? “It’s all a matter of time management, prioritization and a strong support team that you can rely on” says Alex. With the first of their mocks coming up, they will be taking a brief step back from the daily operations of Cikumas and focus on what has to be done to ensure that they can fully concentrate on the business after.

With this blog, we would like to introduce a new series called “A Day in the Life of: Noah/Alex” where they would take us through a quick run down of their school/work day.
